Do you offer something for pain and discomfort during gynecological procedures?
Many gynecologic procedures, such as IUD insertions, hysteroscopies, biopsies and LEEPs cause anxiety and discomfort for some patients. At Exceptional Care for Women we understand that everyone’s experience of pain is different and feeling comfortable during your care matters.
To help support a more comfortable experience, we offer Pro-NoxTM as an optional comfort measure during in office procedures. Pro-NoxTM is a patient controlled nitrous oxide system that can help reduce anxiety and discomfort wile allowing you to remain awake and in control throughout your visit. This option may be also be helpful for patients who experience discomfort or anxiety during routine pelvic exams or Pap smears. Our goal is always to provide care in a way that feels supportive, respectful and as comfortable as possible for each individual patient.
