Pregnancy & Parenting Support:
Colorado WIC Program

- WIC is a nutrition program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women (up to one year postpartum), postpartum women (up to 6 months postpartum), infants, and children until the age of 5 years. The WIC Program provides nutrition education including breastfeeding support, nutritious foods to supplement a person’s regular diet, and screening and referral.

Domestic Violence & Safety Resources:
TESSA of Colorado Springs

- (TESSA: Trust, Education, Safety, Support, and Action) A private, non-profit organization founded in 1977 as a referral service for battered women and their children. Provides emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, support groups, and legal assistance for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
El Paso County Adult & child Protective Services

- Family safety and protective services resources. El Paso County Department of Human Services works with doctors, hospitals, law enforcement officials, schools, and others to identify maltreatment, abuse and/or neglect. All referrals are confidential and Colorado Law protects people from liability if they make a report in good faith. Reports may be made anonymously as well.
